so to find Mr. Right...key steps

Well I have been reading, yes I have included in my vast knowledge about 3 books at once right now that has to do with find Mr. Right.

One book guarantees that I will be dating in 6 months...funny thing is that I started that back in January and I am half way to six months and i haven't been able to finish the book yet.

Anyways...some insight that I will pass on.

Get off the couch and out of the house...meet at least five new people a week...hard you think? It is stinking hard, I have never felt like no task is impossible except for maybe this one! I know too many people ok...this is to find guys so 5 new Guys a week.

How to find a guy to meet...museums, bookstore, library, coffee house, church

Next thing...find yourself...what do you know about yourself that may be with holding you from a relationship...is there a fear that you may be holding on to...is there hurt that you can't get over from your past. Work on it dear!

See a cousellor for deeper issues you are not meant to do this yourself!

This I will say is the 2 biggest points that I have gotten from each book. They are so important and very often forgotten when we are so desperate just to have a relationship. and remember your boundaries and discernment!

As I finish the books I will let you know if there was anything else that you need to know.

Fatal Attraction...Soccer balls...Friday Night Sports!

So I have discovered something new today, why it isn't new...who am I kidding...I think I am just owning up to the truth!

I am accident prone and I should not play soccer ever again! But you know I will.

Today I got the douzy of hits...I actually got the ball direct hit to the face...I had soccer ball fuzz embedded in my nose, but thankfully no bloody nose...no bruising...yet! And most of all...no concussion...please pray that it just doesn't appear over night!

So anyways that is the day and the life in the shoes of me...don't tell the ladies at work...they told me that I shouldn't go out tonight!

Have you ever...

Ok another God moment weekend! I know I just talked about chocolate but I also top thing this weekend...was God!

Yesterday I almost got into a serious car accident and it was just stupid drivers not even the weather to blame. But thankfully God gave me senses and extra sensitive ones at that! He was there to protect me and the guy that I could swear...peed his pants!

Also, on top of that I lost my cell phone yesterday, my lifeline and my soulmate (well kidding on the soulmate part) but you know when you loose something so valuable you just freak out? Well I didn't realize that it was lost until 3 am this morning and so once I realized that it wasn't in the obvious places...I wondered if it was smushed into a roadway somewhere or in the hands of someone. God gave me a peace that it was in my friends vehicle and sure enough it appeared there.

God is so good...take time today to thank Him and give Him all the glory he deserves.

Chocolate

choc·o·late [chaw-kuh-lit, chok-uh-, chawk-lit, chok-] –noun

Ok...I don't really love chocolate and chocolate isn't my thing that I just die for. But when Valentine's Day rolls around...I have an out of body experience, my senses are lost! It starts with the annual tradition of mmm...chocolate fondue...all the chocolate you can imagine and more...who needs a diet when there is chocolate in the house?

Like usual there is tons of chocolate leftover what is one to do with so many leftovers? Well here is some hints:

- take the rest of the chocolate to work...ladies young and old love it!
- try new recipes
- my second year of the chocolate experience I learnt how to make fudge,
friends like fudge
- this year...I think this is the best idea yet...Molten Lava Cakes...who knew
that they were so easy and you can make them to in your own kitchen,
this is a recipe that I will share with anyone

Seriously, I feel like I am on the sugar high of sugar. Anyone want to go for a run...I feel like a marathon!

Anyways...that is tidbit for today!

interesting journey!

Well today I am just basking in the sun, relaxing finally after a full 3 weeks of watching God amaze me!

Not sure what this day has in store but know that God is there for me!

But something that has come to mind...as I share my thoughts with you...about encouragement!

Yes encouragement is something that I have thought about tons this week, with my family going through these hard times and uncertainty but I know God is there for me but does everyone have that reassurance that rest in a God that is so powerful?

I have learnt these last few weeks that people avoid the hard times the suffering, the pain that others go through because they don't know what to say or if they are capable of giving care. In a devotional that I got this week, it explained how the cure was to care for others in all seasons of life. I agree to this and feel that as humans we are all weak in this way.

We often do not know how to relate to someone, saying things that are shallow or half hearted. But when you truly care, do you really ask the other person "how are you?" not about the situation and not about the hard times...but truly ask the other person how they are doing? This has meant more to me in these few weeks then people feeling sorry and not knowing what to say or do! I have enjoyed fellowship with people that are letting me enjoy life and to reflect on what I can be thankful for instead of dwelling on the hurt and pain my family has the ability of changing my character.

I don't enjoy small talk for the sake of small talk, for the sake of gossip or the sake of trying to be friendly. This comes with community with being open and vulnerable to each other. This is something that I have had all four walls up around my life and they have been beautiful brick walls that I was not interested in taking down. This last year God has been transforming my bricks to be the white picket fence. My biggest fear is to be vulnerable, to take that step outside of white picket fence and see what the world has to offer or attack me with. It has been an interesting journey.

Coming out of that comfort has allowed me to see the lack of community when it is needed most! I am not pointing fingers and I am not mad at anyone...but we have to allow God to work in us, to see where we all can improve upon!

I pray this for each of you...to realize it and to make an effort to be the person God made you to be to set aside your priorities to set aside your pride, be humble in all that you do!

May God be with you this blessed day!
